Returning to school - Important Info.
All in Scoil Mhuire gan Smál Blarney are looking forward to welcoming back all of our students in the next few weeks. Returning dates etc are included below for each year group.
Wednesday August 21st Staff Day (08.30am – 3.30pm).
Thursday August 22nd 1st Yrs only (08.30am – 12.50pm).
Friday August 23rd 1st Yrs only (08.30am – 12.50pm).
Monday August 26th 1st and 5th Yrs only (08.30am – 3.30pm).
Tuesday August 27th 1st, 2nd and 5th Yrs only. (08.30am – 3.30pm).
Wednesday August 28th 2nd, 3rd, 5th and 6th Yrs only. (08.30am-12.50pm) (1st yrs off today)
Thursday August 29th 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th & 6th Yrs only (08.30am – 3.30pm).
Friday August 30th 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th & 6th Yrs only (08.30am – 12:50pm).
Monday September 2nd TYO Students return. All students on timetable (08.30am -3.30pm)
For the first few days 1st Yr students are asked to bring with them :
A pencil case, snack / lunch for full days (until school shop is running and those availing of a lunch pass have been processed. Textbooks/copies will be supplied by the DOE and will be distributed over the first few days.

All students are reminded to adhere to the school uniform policy and to take note of type of FOOTWEAR allowed /not allowed under our policy along with rules re piercings etc.
The SMGS PE Uniform etc sale will take place on Thursday 15th and Friday 16th August in the GP Area from 9am-6pm. Cash/cheque only. No changing facilities available at this time. Please see Uniform section of school website for all details.
Info on book grant from Dept of Ed for all 1st-3rd Yrs, 5th Yr Booklists, academic calendar etc all available on school website.
