SMGS 1st Yr Rugby

Our 1st Yr students took to the rugby pitches today in PBC to take part in Rd 1 of the Munster Rugby 1st Yr Blitz. Our squad  included team members who play the game week in week out along with some aspiring to do so and also a few just interested in a day out ! 

Taking on Midleton, Rockwell and Bantry our lads enjoyed the day, scored a few good tries, conceded a few aswell but ultimately our goal here is to encourage those looking at getting involved to take the next step and come out training every Tuesday from 3.45 to 5pm
