The U16 Girls Basketball team had their All Ireland play off on Tuesday. The girls first played St. Brigids Killarney.

Courtney O’ Regan receives JP McManus All Ireland Scholarship
SMGS wish to congratulate Courtney O’ Regan from the Leaving Cert class of 2019 on receiving an All Ireland Scholarship from JP McManus. The scholarship was presented to Courtney on Saturday 23rd November by Irish Rugby Head Coach, Joe Schmidt.

Miriam scoops two awards at National Scifest Competition

On Friday, the 15th of November, RTÉ's Youth Assembly on Climate Change convened in Dáil Éireann. 157 delegates, including SMGS student Orla Leahy met to finalise their recommendations for Ireland's approach to climate change.

A very successful weekend last weekend for SMGS Athletics with First Year student Hannah Falvey winning GOLD at the Minor Girls All Ireland Combined Athletics Event in Athlone last Saturday.
