SMGS students receive visit from Pieta House

Yesterday, all the students of SMGS attended a talk from Pieta House organised by the Amber Flag Committee. Pieta House raises awareness of those affected by suicide or self harm. The talk was hugely beneficial and will hopefully also encourage students to take part in the upcoming Darkness to Light Walk. TY student Rachael O’ Mahony Noonan also presented Angela Horgan from Pieta House with a cheque of money raised through their TY Light Entertainment show. Well done to the students for raising money for such a worthy cause.
