Historic win for U16 Footballers

Our U16 footballers had a historic win today getting the schools first win in the u16A football grade. A great achievement by a talented and hard working group of students. SMGS beat Coláiste Chríost Rí, in the new 4G pitch in Páirc Uí Chaoimh, on a scoreline of 6–11 to 4-9. The same group of players now look forward to their hurling semi final on Friday in the u16B competition. Well done lads and well done to their trainers!
